Whether you're looking for a fun class for your toddler to explore and create within, performing arts training for your child, a place to find your voice in our choral classes, a welcoming and inclusive Community Choir for adults, a chance to shine in our All Kids Musicals, or the opportunity to join the cast in one of our community musicals, there is a place for you!
Our experienced educators offer child-centred, growth-focused classes for children, a blossoming choral program for youth and adults, and our award-winning, one-of-a-kind triple threat Performance Troupe Program. Our All Kids' Musicals are led by some of the most expereinced and highly trained performing arts educators in our province; these shows are open to kids of all experience levels in grade 1+ (fall) and 4+ (spring). Our Summer Camp is a week like no other - hosted at the beautiful WMCA! For 5 days, educators from across our region spend a week with sharing their love, and knowledge of, the performing arts, offering classes in musical theatre, choir, stage dance, drama, improv, show choir and more.
Our Story
Founded in 2001, Mecca Productions has grown from a once-a-week class to become an arts hub, and a valued part of the arts community in Westman. We bring together a team of instructors and community volunteers who work together to create a season of live theatre at the beautiful WMCA. Our team of instructors are come to us from all over, bringing their training and knowledge to our students and productions. We've grown a lot since 2001 but one thing has remained at the centre of what we do: our love for the performing arts and our belief its power to change. Together - we make our community a richer and more vibrant place.
